Fair Oak Farm

So a few weeks ago we got Invited to stay at Fair Oak Farm for the Savvy Sleepover by the @the_savvy_mummy...

I have made a Vlog on out trip but I thought I would give a quick little break down of how we spent our little getaway...

So whenever I go on trips with the kids whether it be just for the day or for a few I always make sure I come prepared. I had no intention of cooking as it is my holiday also lol. So I went to marks and spencer and got microwave meals. They are such a life saver and the kids really enjoy the spicy prawn spaghetti, so I always pick them up in 3 for £7 deal. Of course who don't love a pound shop? from there I picked up all there snacks sweets crisps and toiletries etc. and then I got the basics of bread, something for sandwiches milk for the kids and baby, coco pops for the boys, weetabix for the baby and unlimited amount of multipack drinks. For myself I could never forget my Teabags and den I got some ready made salad bowls and avocados.

Fair Oak Farm is a beautiful country estate in Sussex (took us about a hour and a bit drive) with acres of land with amazing unique rooms for you to stay in. There were tree houses, caravan style rooms, a big farm house and few other beautiful rooms, all with their own cute little names.

Once arrived in our rooms we were greeted to great little goodie bags with something inside for everyone and fresh towels.

We stayed for 2 nights with a bunch of other cool mums and their kids and we had such a lovely time.

There wasn't an itinerary, you was free to do as you liked but each day there was something you could join in and take part in if you wished too.

As soon as we got there the boys went exploring. The land is so beautiful with great open space, even the air just felt and smelled so refreshing compared to London. As it is private land and we had it all to ourselves I felt a bit more relaxed in regards to watching them, So I let them play freely. They also found such a cute cinema room too that kept them occupied.

On the first evening it was just chilled getting to know each other gathering, really nice and relaxed, we all stayed up quite late before departing to bed.

For the second day the lovely Hannah (The Savvy Mummy) the host arranged a lovely little easter egg hunt for the children. It was so sweet they was searching high and low for ages, the kids had a really good time.

After that I made them a bit of lunch and we all gathered for yummy afternoon tea...

The kids went back out to play and a few hours later we did a bit of pizza making, literally the whole time the kids were occupied, I can actually say I heard no moaning and barely even heard the word mum as they were so busy playing.

The kids even had a little dip in the hot tub!

As it started getting late we stayed and socialised for bit but had a bit of an earlier night.

The next morning it was home time, apart from the baby constantly waking due to teething the boys had a nice little lay in and we just chilled for a bit before having to get ready to leave.

Fair Oak Farm is such a beautiful beautiful beautiful place. It's peaceful, relaxed and is the perfect getaway to the country. I will definitely be returning. The children had the best time ever and were literally devastated to leave.

Hannah did an amazing job! do check her out she is the social gathering queen!
Once again thank you so much for inviting us.
