2 for 1 Tickets @ London Zoo

Hey people!

Today I went to the London Zoo with the kids and some friends and wanted to share the deal we used to get in, as London attractions are always so expensive so to save money when you can helps a lot!

there was 8 of us including 2 babies which are free, but children over the age of 3 need to pay.
Standard ticket prices on the door are:

Ticket price at the gate
Ticket price at the gate including donation
Adults£25.50£28.10
Children (3-15 years)£18.50£20.39
Children under 3 yearsFREEFREE
Concessions (senior (60 or over), student & disabled adult)
£22.95
£25.29

Which really adds up! I should of paid £68.88 for me and the kids but instead I paid £25.50!!!!!!! what a big difference ay? let me tell you how......

there was 3 adults and 3 kids minus to the two babies.. so we all took a child each to get the 2 for 1 deal.. so we all paid our adult entry price minus the donation so all the kids got in free.

To get this deal visit https://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/ and select the attraction you want.. so in this case the ZSL London Zoo. Then select how many people are going so mine was 6. Click download and do not forget to print off as you need to present this at the door.

Next, visit the http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ select the amount of people that need the tickets. So I selected 3 adults and 3 children. Select the actual date you want to visit. The cheapest fare I found was West Hampsted to Kentish Town. This came to £14.25. For a party of 6 the journey price for an adult was £2.15 and a child £1.30. We booked these a few days before we went, and my friend collected from her local overground station. This will only work with national rail tickets. Oyster and underground are not included in the deal! We didn't travel by train to the zoo but to obtain the deal you need to present the tickets at the door along with the print off from the days out website.

Please remember for the deal to be valid the train tickets need to be for the date you are visiting!
This includes all the other attractions also listed on the days out website!!

Whether going as a couple, a family, a child or a group, theres a huge saving to be made here. For £25.50, My kids and I enjoyed a long, fun, insightful day (over 5 hours). We made a packed lunch and sat in the terraced cafe, which although busy was lovely, this was also one more huge saving of the hefty food prices. The zoo was really fun, and there is literally entertainment for all ages!

It was worth every pound! Hope this helps

MWA xx
